ZEUS' GARDEN: Notes - 14 Plato's Phaedo

Notes - 14 Plato's Phaedo

Analogy between series in dream world and past and present life
- Change destiny through understanding dreams and reincarnations
- Meaning of transformations we take

What is the whole that we are truly a member?

The intelligibility of the part you call your self? In dream or series of lives (learning).

Purpose, intelligible, through leaning gain a certain kind of intelligence, more full use of intellect, to understand the whole.

That everything should be exactly where it is best for it to be.
- Justice

Learning central to the universe. Learning about ourselves. Transforming ourselves through learning about ourselves (insights into ones self and the nature of reality).
- Intelligence governing (caring) the universe for the good of all.

Anticipating the future development of man. Recapitulation of ontology. Man as he seeks greater degrees of self dicovery, learns how learning plays its role in the universe working for the highest good.

Everything should be exactly as is for learning, for our benefit.

If you can see the whole intelligible at once, that is what intuition or insight, no difference between intelligence, intelligible, intellect as one. Now you have capacity of ousia as good always is (eternity).

Nature of reality is good, by ousia, then grasps intelligible at once, eternity.

Primary ideas from which everything else proceeds (triune):
Primal Cause - Eternity, Essence-Ousia (ability to turn about itself), Goodness.
- In the most brilliant light of Being

Every problem is your Koan.

Life is to confront your problems.

Problems can be expected, anticipated, to learn from them.

Pain killer (physiological, real normal) but why you suffer. We add the suffering, pain is survival, sit on a tack you want to know about it, pain later excepted as an easy price to pay for outcome (ex. childbirth).
